“Fearless” wants a shot.

As more Bellator fighters are released from the Professional Fighters League (PFL), the promotion that bought them, they are looking for a new home to compete.

Former Bellator top prospect Lance Gibson Jr. is one fighter who wants to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), specifically UFC Seattle, which takes place Feb. 22, 2025, and Gibson Jr. created a pretty damn good promo for the UFC brass.

Dana [White], Sean [Shelby], I’ve been on your radar for a while now,” Gibson Jr. said in a video on his social media. “You’ve seen what my dad did 25 years ago at UFC 24, March 10, 2000. I was born 10 minutes away from [Climate Pledge] Arena, and I was raised on the mats in Seattle, Washington. This city knows my name. I fought for the Pacific Northwest my entire career. Fight after fight, I’ve shown I’m fearless. I’m ferocious. I’m unstoppable. But most importantly, I’m one of a kind. I’ve dreamt my entire life of being able to fight in the UFC octagon. What better time than now?”

Indeed, Gibson Jr. is the son of former UFC fighter Lance Gibson, and there’s a saying that you can only make one first impression. Gibson Jr. knocked that promo out of the park.

“Fearless” fought six times for Bellator, racking up a 5-1 record with three brutal finishes, and was a top Lightweight prospect then. He lost Vladimir Tokov at Bellator 293 and was not brought over when PFL purchased Bellator. He has since returned to the regional scene and scored two first-round stoppages.

Gibson Jr. would undoubtedly make a great addition to the UFC roster due to his exciting fight style and excellent finishing ability. Adding a hometown fighter is a brilliant idea if the promotion wants to get the Seattle crowd loud early next year.
