“Demonslayer” is homeless again.

In July, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) prospect Mariya Agapova was released from the promotion following a first-round submission loss to Luana Santos at UFC Denver- it was her third straight loss.

Three months before her fight at UFC Denver, Agapova revealed she was homeless and was unable to find a job other than fighting because of her training schedule.

One month after her UFC release, things started to look up because she signed a deal to fight for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and was booked for a Dec. 2025 debut.

However, her tentatively scheduled fight that was supposed to occur this past weekend got canceled, and now the 27-year-old Kazakhstan fighter is homeless again.

“Today, I am staying on the street. If anyone can help, let me know,” Agapova wrote on her Instagram story. “Many people ask what happened. I fought for money all year and didn’t work,” Agapova added. “I didn’t get much money for the last fight, and my bare-knuckle fight in December was canceled. So, I ended up on the street and without money. I’ve been in poverty for several years. Out of desperation, I signed up for bare-knuckle.”

Hopefully, Agapova can overcome her current difficulties and get booked for a BKFC fight in early 2025.
