Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and longtime MMA knockout artist Jeremy Stephens came face-to-face at the conclusion of the BKFC press conference earlier today in “The City of Brotherly Love,” held in advance of the upcoming “KnuckleMania 5” event on Sat., Jan. 25, 2025 on DAZN from inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Watch a camera-hogging Conor McGregor stare them down in the video above.
Alvarez is 1-1 after signing with BKFC back in early 2023, defeating former UFC featherweight contender Chad Mendes before his technical knockout loss to ex-UFC welterweight Mike Perry.
As for Stephens, he improved to 2-0 for BKFC by scoring consecutive victories over Jimmie Rivera (TKO) and Bobby Taylor (decision).
That’s not all.
BKFC “KnuckleMania 5” will also feature the women’s flyweight bout pitting Taylor Starling opposite Bec Rawlings. Elsewhere on the DAZN-streamed fight card (see it here), UFC veteran “Big” Ben Rothwell challenges Mick Terrill for the BKFC heavyweight title.
