Josh Emmett is finally out of the cheap seats.
The 39 year-old featherweight will headline his fourth UFC event when he collides with 33 year-old Englishman Lerone Murphy atop the UFC Vegas 105 mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card, recently made official for Sat., April 5, 2025 at the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That’s according to a report from MMA Fighting.
Emmett (19-4) recently finished shooting his snuff film starring Bryce Mitchell, which aired during the UFC 296 pay-per-view (PPV) back in late 2023. The violent, first-round knockout clearly left “Thug Nasty” with a couple of screws loose, based on this recent tirade.
Murphy (15-0-1), ranked three spots below Emmett at No. 11 in the official featherweight rankings (see them here), kept his undefeated record intact by outlasting 145-pound mainstay Dan Ige as part of the UFC 308 lineup last fall on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi.
