UFC Vegas 102 went down TONIGHT (Sat., Feb. 15, 2025) inside its newly-renovated APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The promotion’s second APEX-based mixed martial arts (MMA) event of the year was streamed LIVE on ESPN+. The main event pit top Middleweights Jared Cannonier vs. Gregory Rodrigues against each other. Both men were hoping to start 2025 with a win and possibly mount a campaign for the title currently held by 185-pound chaotic wrecking ball, Dricus du Plessis.

UFC Vegas 102’s co-main event was an exciting match-up in the Featherweight division. The fight and potential passing of the guard moment at 145 pounds, had former standout Calvin Kattar meeting the surging Youssef Zalal (who had snatched three submissions in a row since returning to UFC).

The main card also had Edmen Shahbazyan vs. Dylan Budka, Ismael Bonfim vs. Nazim Sadykhov and Rodolfo Vieira vs. Andre Petroski.

The “Prelims” were headlined by Connor Matthews vs. Jose Delgado. That portion of the card also had Strawweight veteran Angela Hill. She had her hands full with Ketlen Souza, who scored a massive finish inside Sphere last year.

Also on the “Prelims” we had Julia Avila vs. Jacqueline Cavalcanti, Valter Walker vs. Don’Tale Mayes and Elijah Smith (son of Gilbert Smith!) debuting against Vince Morales.
