Lightweight Jason Meisel misses weight
Brandon Johnson fails to pass pre-fight medical
Press Release – TORONTO, March 15th, 2012 – The weigh-ins and talking are over and now it’s time for the real action. The Score Fighting Series (SFS) weigh-ins is finalized ahead of Friday night’s event at the Hamilton Place Theatre in Hamilton, ON.
Every fighter made weight except lightweight Jason Meisel, who came in more than 12 ounces over the 156lb allowance. Meisel will now surrender 20 per cent of his fight purse to opponent Mike Sledzion.
In related news, the scheduled bout between welterweights Ryan Dickson vs. Brandon Johnson has had to be removed from the card after Johnson failed to pass his pre-fight medicals.
