Revel, Atlantic City’s newest hotel and resort casino, will host the UFC’s return to the area later this summer.
The news was first reported by “The Press of Atlantic City,” and MMA Fighting has since confirmed the venue with UFC officials.
Revel will open its doors to the public in a soft launch on April 2 before its grand opening on May 25. The UFC event, dubbed UFC on FX 4, will take place less than a month later on June 22. According to the report, Revel’s arena can hold 5,500 fans.
The event will mark the promotion’s first card in Atlantic City since UFC 53 in June 2005. UFC officials will announce ticket information in the coming weeks.
The card’s main event will feature a five-round lightweight fight between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida.
