Bellator Fighting Championships has it’s first final for the promotions sixth season as featherweights Marlon Sandro (22-3) and Daniel Straus (19-4) are set to meet next month at Bellator 68.
Sandro earned his way into the final by winning a split decision against Alexandre Bezerra a week ago at Bellator 64. While Straus, makes his way into the final by winning a unanimous decision versus Mike Corey last night at Bellator 65.
Officials confirmed the date for the match after Friday’s Bellator 65 event via Twitter (@BellatorMMA).

Bellator 68 is scheduled to take place on May 11, 2012 in Atlantic City, New Jersey with the main card airing live on MTV2.
Sandro fought Pat Curran last August in the 2011 Summer Series final, losing to the current champ by knockout. Since then Sandro has won three straight in the Bellator cage, submitting Rafael Dias and Roberta Vargas, as well as defeating Alexandre Bezerra by split decision to make it into the Season Six final.
This will be the second time Straus has found himself in a Bellator tournament final, losing to Patricio Freire last year in the Season Four final. Straus is currently on a three fight winning streak, with tournament victories over Jeremy Spoon and Corey in Season Six.
