As far as John Alessio is concerned, the UFC could have called him on Monday, and he would have boarded a plane bound for Atlanta.

Now booked for Saturday’s UFC 145 event, he gets a fourth shot at a first UFC win. And come fight night, he’s going to be energized by the fans who helped get him that opportunity.
