Newly minted contender Frank Mir happy, relieved to get UFC 146 title shot

Frank Mir of course knew that he could, and most
likely would, replace Alistair Overeem in a title
bout against champ Junior Dos Santos at UFC 146.

But until it was official, he could only imagine.

“When you’re sitting there thinking late at night, there’s thousands of
different scenarios that play out,” Mir today told MMAjunkie.com.
