A month later, UFC Primetime is back.

The three-part series chronicling Junior dos Santos and Frank Mir’s road to UFC 146 premieres tonight on FX at 11 p.m. ET, following TUF: Live. Episode 2 will air at the same time on May 18, while Episode 3 will premiere on May 25, just 24 hours before the heavyweight title fight. Replays of the shows will air on FUEL TV and various FOX Sports affiliates leading up to the fight.

UFC 146: dos Santos vs. Mir airs live on pay-per-view from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 26.

This will mark the ninth edition of UFC Primetime. The series premiered in Jan. 2009 prior to UFC 94: St-Pierre vs. Penn 2.

Speaking of which, below is a look back at what I believe was the best segment in Primetime history — the final countdown to Georges St-Pierre vs. B.J. Penn 2.
