Bellator Fighting Championships begins it’s 2012 Summer Series tournament today with the official weigh-ins for Bellator 71 from The Mountaineer Casino Resort in Chester, West Virginia. The weigh-ins are complete and the first eight fighters making up the promotions first official tournament are on weight.
All eight light heavyweights made weight for their perspective matches and will kick off the action Friday night as Bellator returns to the MTV2 airwaves. Also making his debut with Bellator will be former Strikeforce Grand Prix competitor Brett ‘The Grim’ Rogers (264.8) who is set to take on Kevin Asplund (246.8).
