Cub Swanson, Spencer Fisher, Sam Stout, and Dan Miller all earned $50,000 post-fight bonuses in the aftermath of UFC on FX 4, which took place at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.
Swanson steamrolled his way to ‘Knockout of the Night,’ dropping Ross Pearson with a flawless three-punch combination midway through the second round of the pair’s main card tussle. With the victory, the WEC veteran seized his first two-fight winning streak since 2008.
“I was hitting him with a lot of shots and he didn’t show he was getting hurt at all,” an elated Swanson said afterward. “I’m real good at that exiting left hook. I hit him on the button, and he fell backwards. I tried to jump on him but it was already over.”
Meanwhile, Stout and Fisher took home ‘Fight of the Night’ honors for the electrifying conclusion of their five-year trilogy, and Miller was awarded ‘Submission of the Night’ after tapping out Ricardo Funch with a guillotine choke on the Facebook undercard.
