PORTLAND, Ore. – Lorenz Larkin was hoping to have a dazzling debut at middleweight. Mission accomplished.
Larkin, fighting for the first time at 185 pounds after dropping down from light heavyweight, stayed unbeaten in Strikeforce and beat Robbie Lawler by a unanimous decision sweep of the judges’ scorecards.
The middleweight bout opened up the main card of Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy” event at Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Ore. The fight aired on Showtime following prelims on Showtime Extreme.
