The light heavyweight made his long-awaited UFC debut. He got to fight on the prelims on FX. He fought in front of his home crowd in Canada. And he bagged a UFC record-tying seven-second knockout.

The only way Jimmo’s introduction to the UFC fan base could have been better is with a six-second KO, or a five. And that nearly was the case.
