DENVER – Erik Perez barely had time to break a sweat.
The Greg Jackson-trained fighter clipped Ken Stone with a right hand 10 seconds into the first round, dropped him and earned a 17-second finish. The stoppage was the fastest TKO or knockout in the history of Zuffa’s bantamweight division.
The bantamweight bout was part of the preliminary card of Saturday’s UFC 150 event at Pepsi Center in Denver. It aired on FX prior to a main card on pay-per-view and following one fight on Facebook.
