The official cause of death for Tyrone Mims is yet undetermined. An initial autopsy on the fighter was inconclusive, said Charleston (S.C.) County Coroner Rae Wooten.
“Our findings don’t reveal any immediate cause of death,” Wooten today told MMAjunkie.com.
An “internal review” into Mims’ death is underway, according to a statement released today by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Registration, which oversees the South Carolina Athletic Commission.
