This weekend, Strikeforce female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and
former titleholder Sarah Kaufman meet in the main event of “Strikeforce:
Rousey vs. Kaufman.”
Rousey, of course, has recently been seen as a cover girl for ESPN the
Magazine’s “Body Issue,” a guest on “Conan” and the subject of
Showtime’s pre-fight special, “All Access.”
UFC president Dana White recently said if a woman were to ever fight in the
UFC, it would probably be Rousey, but how serious should anyone take
those comments? Will women ever fight in the UFC?
