In his first public comments since his arrest earlier this week, Jason “Mayhem” Miller took to Facebook to assure his family and friends that they did not have to worry about him.
Miller was arrested Monday morning in Mission Viejo, Calif., on burglary charges after he allegedly broken into a church, sprayed a fire extinguisher and broke many items. According to a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Miller was found by police naked on a couch in the church. He was not intoxicated and was arrested without incident.
Miller was released from jail early Tuesday morning when he posted the $20,000 bond. He may also face felony and vandalism charges when he is due in court in the next three weeks.
Miller, a 14-year-veteran of the sport, retired from mixed martial arts in May after losing to C.B. Dolloway at UFC 146.
