As the fallout from the cancellation of UFC 151 continues, some of the fighters who were expecting to compete on Sept. 1 are learning their new assignments.

On Thursday, no fewer than four of the undercard bouts had been rescheduled for later dates.

UFC on FX 5 has so far snagged three of the fights.

The expected UFC 151 co-main event is one of them. That means that Jake Ellenberger and Jay Hieron will fight on Oct. 5 in Minneapolis, a little over one month after they had first been set to scrap. The move stands to benefit Hieron, who had taken the bout on short notice.

The Minneapolis show will also see two lightweight matches, as both Danny Castillo vs. Michael Johnson and Shane Roller vs. Jacob Volkmann have also been reset.

Meanwhile, a welterweight bout pitting Charlie Brenneman against Kyle Noke has been marked for UFC 152 on Sept. 22. The fight will take place on the event’s undercard.

Several more fights have yet to find a home.

UFC 151 was canceled on Thursday afternoon after Dan Henderson’s injury and Jon Jones’ rejection of a proposed replacement fight against Chael Sonnen. The event was to take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
