Officials confirm Frank Mir out, Daniel Cormier remains on Nov. 3 Strikeforce card

Officials have confirmed the UFC’s Frank Mir is out of a cross-promotion fight with Strikeforce heavyweight Daniel Cormier.

MMAjunkie.com initially passed along news of the change late Tuesday. As we reported, Mir suffered a knee injury, according to officials.

A replacement search is underway and Cormier will remain on the Nov. 3 Strikeforce card.
