Press Release – TORONTO, October 5th, 2012 –The Score Fighting Series (SFS) today announced a new headline clash for its upcoming event at the RBC Centre in Sarnia on Friday, October 19th, with Brad “The Bonesaw” Cardinal set to face Chris Horodecki in a 150 catchweight contest. Cardinal hails from Calgary, Alberta, and replaces Kalvin Hackney whose fight prep has been disrupted by illness.

Cardinal (16-8) has been victorious in his two outings and has earned a reputation as a finisher with only one of his 16 victories coming via decision. He is expected to prove a tough opponent for London, Ontario, featherweight Horodecki (18-4), who is currently honing his skills at the Tristar gym in Montreal. There will be some added spice to this encounter, with Horodecki eyeing payback for his Adrenaline Training Centre teammate Jesse Gross, who was controversially beaten by Cardinal back in May 2011 at a Wreck MMA event.

Cardinal is the latest addition to a thrilling card, which also includes an explosive welterweight clash between Sergej Juskevic and Gerald “The Machine” Meerschaert. Lithuanian Juskevic (11-7) returns to action after an epic TKO battle against Forrest Petz in Hamilton in March – a bout which many believe was the greatest ever witnessed inside an SFS cage.

Juskevic, who now lives in Toronto, is known for his deadly leglocks and brutal body attacks. Juskevic can expect to face a very well rounded opponent in Meerschaert (15-5). “The Machine” has finished 80% of his fights by submission and trains out of Milwaukee under striking coach extraordinaire Duke Roufus. He joins Roufusport teammate Rick Glenn on the card.

The updated card is as follows:
