UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and TUF 14 winner John Dodson both successfully made weight at Friday’s UFC on FOX 6 weigh-ins in Chicago, IL, rendering their title tilt official for Saturday night.

Garbed in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle underwear, with a bag of Pop Rocks clenched between his teeth, Dodson was his normal smily self as he tipped the scales at a light 124 pounds. Johnson, meanwhile, calmly strolled onto the stage one pound heavier, coming in at 125 pounds for the first defense of his UFC title.

“[Dodson] is very athletic, has great speed and has power,” Johnson said of his opponent afterward. “But at the same time, you can’t hit what you can’t see. I believe my footwork and feints are going to be the difference in this fight. I’m going to go out there and test everything he’s got, cardio, and use my pressure, and see what he brings.”

Meanwhile, if Friday afternoon was any indication, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson clearly remains a fan favorite despite his current squabbles with the higher-ups at Zuffa. The former UFC light heavyweight champion received a rousing ovation before weighing in at a trim 204 pounds ahead of his co-main event bout.

Jackson’s opponent, Glover Teixeira, tipped the scales at 206 pounds, before engaging in a smoldering staredown with Jackson, who had a few words to share.

“I told him, ‘I don’t like when people say they’re going to knock me out,'” Jackson explained. “I trained my ass off for this fight. So you better be careful what you ask for.”
