All you have to do is create a short video and statement letting them know why you should be running the @XFINITYSports Twitter handle, and submit on the XFINITY Facebook page where the contest is being hosted. If you’re selected, you will get the opportunity to share behind-the-scenes stories and news with more than 15,000 followers from the largest and most important sporting events over the next year.
Here’s how this contest works.
10 semifinalists will be selected. The 8 of the best submissions will go straight through, and 2 wild cards be chosen from a fan vote out of a total of 10 wild card choices.
Each of the 10 semifinalists will then be invited to XFINITY Live! in Philadelphia, PA, to participate in a series of challenges designed to test their social media skills. The 5 contestants who excel in their evaluations will receive the opportunity to travel to a live sporting event, hosted by an XFINITY partner. You can enter the contest anytime between this very moment and February 18th.
We know many of our readers already excel in social media know-how and prowess, so this is can’t-miss opportunity. Think about it: one of you could become the brains behind a sports-based Twitter account with 15,000 followers as well as attend major sporting events all over the country.
