If you thought the end of presidential campaign season in the United States meant you could stop hearing about China for at least a little while, think again.

After months of arguments about who is and is not shipping jobs to the world’s most populous nation, the UFC heads to the “special administrative region” of Macau for its official debut in the People’s Republic of China for UFC on FUEL TV 6 on Saturday.

In case you haven’t noticed, the UFC is pretty serious about this whole global expansion thing.

I’m always suspicious of people who say they don’t think about the future.

That’s why I couldn’t quite take Cung Le at his word when he told me he doesn’t worry about what will happen after his fight with Rich Franklin at the UFC on FUEL TV 6 event this weekend.

It’s not that I think he was lying about being firmly rooted in the present. It’s just that it doesn’t seem totally possible to me.

It’s funny how differently fighters react to positive drug tests when it’s the UFC administering them, isn’t it?

It’s kind of like when you were a kid and you quickly learned which teachers could be taken advantage of and which were to be feared from a great distance.
