If you thought the end of presidential campaign season in the United States meant you could stop hearing about China for at least a little while, think again.

After months of arguments about who is and is not shipping jobs to the world’s most populous nation, the UFC heads to the “special administrative region” of Macau for its official debut in the People’s Republic of China for UFC on FUEL TV 6 on Saturday.

In case you haven’t noticed, the UFC is pretty serious about this whole global expansion thing.

Cung Le, Rich Franklin and the problem of the future

That’s why I couldn’t quite take Cung Le at his word when he told me he doesn’t worry about what will happen after his fight with Rich Franklin at the UFC on FUEL TV 6 event this weekend.

It’s not that I think he was lying about being firmly rooted in the present. It’s just that it doesn’t seem totally possible to me.

Fowlkes: MMA’s drug problem is real – and it isn’t getting any better

Don’t scorch one more brain cell trying to decipher how using steroids before the biggest opportunity of his career could have possibly seemed like a good idea at the time.

It wasn’t. It couldn’t have been.

Despite White’s claim and saying it once, Dos Santos says he doesn’t hate Overeem

Ask UFC heavyweight champ Junior Dos Santos about the stories his boss has been peddling about him on Internet message boards recently, and the next sound you hear will be that happy, slightly embarrassed laugh of his.

You know the one. It starts way down in the stomach somewhere and sounds almost boyish by the time it finishes.

If he weren’t so big and so capable of knocking men unconscious with a single punch, you might be tempted to call it a giggle.
