The UFC 189 start time, TV schedule is for the McGregor vs. Mendes event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night. The fight card is broken into three different parts, each airing on three different mediums. This post will help explain which fights are airing where and at which times.

The main card airs on pay-per-view beginning at 10 p.m. ET. It is listed as follows:

In the main event, Conor McGregor will square off against Chad Mendes for the UFc interim featherweight title. UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will defend his belt against Rory MacDonald in the co-main event.

Lawler defeated MacDonald via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) in their previous meeting at UFC 167 on Nov. 16, 2013.

LAS VEGAS — UFC president Dana White discussed Jose Aldo’s injuries, Conor McGregor, UFC 189, and much more during a Q&A at the Fan Expo on Friday afternoon.

At UFC 189 weigh-ins, Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes had to be separated by Dana White at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday evening.

At the UFC 189 weigh-ins, all 22 fighters taking part in Saturday night’s UFC 189 fights will step on the scale Friday evening, and we’ll have the live video here at MMAFighting.com.

In the main event, Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes will have to make the featherweight limit of 145 pounds.
