Can’t drop the ball on this one.

With Season 2 of Bellator underway, we’d be remiss not to give special mention to Round Card Girl Mercedes Terrell.

For those of you who care about things other than how a girl looks (how dare you), Mercedes is 5′6, 105lbs (ok that’s still about looks), her favorite movie is the 5th Element, and she likes the Simpsons and snowboarding, football, and motorcross.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Dana White said that Anderson Silva’s performance in Abu Dhabi was “absolutely” his worst moment as President of the UFC saying the Brazilian fought like a “jackass for five rounds.”

Silva toyed with Damien Maia in his title Middleweight title fight at UFC 112, taunting and generally acting like an arrogant entitled asshole en route to an unanimous decision victory. White admitted that he was going to have a private conversation with Silva and feels it’s “baffling” that Silva doesn’t feel like he owes the fans an apology.

:: Anderson Silva vs. Damien Maia – This one is pretty consistent across the board with Silva ranging from -795 to -875. If you think Maia has any upset potential though, BetED has him at +795. Best odds you’ll find for a Maia win. Book it here.

:: B.J. Penn vs. Frankie Edgar – We actually think Penn should be a heavier favorite than Silva in their respective fights, which apparently Bodog agrees with listing him at -1100. So if you think Edgar has a punching chance, grab him at +600 over at Bodog here.

:: Matt Hughes vs. Renzo Gracie – All the books like Matt Hughes around the -400 to -405 range. The only real variance is Bodog, who has this listed at -360/+280. If you’re betting Hughes, clearly take him at Bodog here.

UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer appeared on Poker2Nite on Versus Wednesday.

Standard stuff, but aside from the UFC, Bruce is a very active poker player with a ton of other business endeavors. Too bad he doesn’t know what a buffer state is though.
