MAIN CARD
Kenny Florian (12-4-0) vs. Takanori Gomi (31-5-0)
Florian is such a dynamic striker and a great finisher, but Gomi is like BJ Penn, and has excellent KO power. This fight could go like the Florian, Penn fight, but Gomi has been hit or miss with conditioning and focus. If Florian wins this fight his entire career is elevated to another level imo.
Roy Nelson (14-4-0) vs. Stefan Struve (19-3-0)
An interesting bout between the stout Nelson for the lengthy string bean, Struve. Nelson will have the advantage on the ground, and Struve likely on the feet. Expect Nelson to be on top of Struve for 3 rounds and take a decision.
Nate Quarry (12-3-0) vs. Jorge Rivera (17-7-0)
Interesting fight. Both fighers have good standup and mediocre leg kicks. Wrestling games are probably even. I lean a little more towards Rivera in this fight based on feel only. Both of these guys can hit the button and have been hit on the button several times.
Ross Pearson (10-3-0) vs. Dennis Siver (15-6-0)
If Pearson looks the way he did in his last fight, Pearson should win EASILY.
PRELIMINARY CARD
Ronys Torres (14-2-0) vs. Jacob Volkmann (9-2-0)
No opinion.
Gleison Tibau (20-6-0) vs. Caol Uno (25-12-5)
Caol Uno although with a revived career and fighting, maybe even better than he did, in his prime, I think Tibau is too strong for him. However, Tibau has also improved tremendously, but there is always that fear in me he will revert back to the time when he appeared lazy in the ring. He may have been sick or dehydrated during those fights I don’t know. If both fighters are at their best. Tibau should control and probably TKO Uno.
Lucio Linhares (13-5-0) vs. Yushin Okami (23-5-0)
Okami is probably too strong and too much of a zombie against Linhares’ boxing ability. Very interested to see this fight, I hope they show it.
