Round 1: Mario Yamasaki is the referee. Nogueira is southpaw, Shogun is orthodox. Hard body kick lands for Shogun. The two are exchanging and Shogun lands an inside leg kick. Shogun charges and lands a right, but Nogueira circles out. Crushing body shot scores for Nogueira. Shogun got clipped and Nogueira follows up and they’re trading bombs. Now Nogueira is hurt and he backpedals, but he’s pressed Shogun into the fence. Nogueira is all over him, but Shogun survives.

Round 2: Shogun lands an inside leg kick to start, then dives on a single leg in the center of the cage and gets it. With an underhook, Shogun steps over one leg to reach half guard. Shogun is landing small, but consistent shots. Rua tries to pass, but Nogueira goes to deep half, so they stand. Hard body kick scores from Shogun. Shogun now pressing Nogueira into the fence, but the referee separates them for inactivity. Another hard body kick scores for Nogueira, then a left hook, then an inside leg kick to end the round.

Round 3: Another good body kick for Shogun. Another hard body kick from Shogun, followed by a trip double, but he can’t get it. Now the pair are clinched along the fence. Rua lands another body kick, but Nogueira is active with his hand combinations. Good left for Nogueira, but he eats a right and a body kick. Shogun attempts a single leg, but it goes nowhere. Inside leg kick finds the mark for Shogun. Both fighters exchange rights, but Shogun is consistent with the body kick. Shogun staying active with an inside leg kick and then a right hand. Shogun eats a jab and shoots for a takedown and gets it, but Nogueira attempts a guillotine. No dice, Shogun escapes and he’s on top.

Round 1: Bruno is storming out, but Franca backs away and resets. The two exchange punches and Bruno shoots, but can’t get it and they stand. Bruno eventually gets a trip, but Franca stands up right away. Bruno is still all over him with double underhooks. Franca breaks the grip and is now all over Bruno for the takedown, which he gets. Bruno eventually stands, but as he does, Franca yanks him down. He gets one hook in, but not the other.

Franca is now spending what feels like an inordinate amount of time hunting the takedown, but Franca loses in the scramble and ends up in guard. Franca latches on what appears to be a rear naked choke, but it never works.

Round 3: Bruno scores with a takedown and has one hook in, but Franca rolls through and is now behind Bruno. They separate the fight is temporarily halted for a low blow, but it starts again. The two are exchanging strikes, but Bruno appears exhausted. Franca is again on Bruno’s back, looking for a choke. With just seconds left in the fight, Franca gets the tap.

Round 1: Osiris Maia is the referee. Lopes is southpaw, Vieira is orthodox. They’re banging away and Lopes fires a dozen body shots from the clinch before they break. Vieira scores with a right and jumps guillotine, but Lopes passes to the opposite side to escape. Vieira lets go and Lopes jumps guillotine and he escapes. They’re trading bombs and Vieira drops, so he shoots and Lopes jumps guillotine again. Vieira escapes again. Both fighters are just trading wild punches. It’s hard to tell who is getting the worst of it all.

Round 2: Stinging right hand from Vieira from the outside. Lopes connects with his own. Another right hand scores for Vieira, but he eats a slapping body kick. Hard inside leg kicks finds a home for Vieira. Vieira scores another right, but not before eating a hard body kick. Lopes times a takedown after a punch and works from Vieira’s guard. The referee stands them up for inactivity.

Round 3: Vieira opens the frame with a jab and hard outside leg kick. Lopes times a double and puts Vieira on his back halfway through the round. Vieira secures an underhook, so Lopes tries to jump guard again. Eventually, Vieira escapes and the two exchange hammerfists back and forth. That was rather terrible.

Palelei struggles with the effort and so far can get nothing, and then they separate. Palelei shoots again, and is quickly stuffed. They clinch again after another knee from Silva, this time with Silva looking for the takedown. Palelei hits a harai gohshi, but Silva sits through for deep half. Silva eats some hammerfists and moves to open full guard. Palelei ends the round postured up and landing big shots.

Gadelha, who has won four of her past five fights, will face Aguilar, who is making her UFC debut, on the main card.
Round 1: Both fighters open orthodox, but Gadelha strikes first with a step-through knee. She’s also countered with a left hook from the Brazilian. A series of punching, leading and countering, now score for Gadelha, but Aguilar responds with an outside low kick. Gadelha is grabbing Aguilar’s head and driving her knee up the middle with varying success at the end of her punches. Gadelha times a double leg and scores it with authority and the Brazilian takes the back almost immediately.

Round 2: Gadelha opens with a storm of left hooks and is backing Aguilar up. A right hand over the top cracks Aguilar hard and she’s on the run. Gadelha presses her against the fence and they’re working from the clinch before Gadelha body lock trips her to the mat. Aguilar, however, is able to stand. They separate and the Brazilian stops a shot. Aguilar’s face is a mess and she’s occasionally landing a right or outside leg kick, but is otherwise at the bad end of the striking exchanges. Just before the final bell, Gadelha chases down a blast double.

Aguilar shoots and drives Gadelha against the cage, but can’t get it. Aguilar lands another outside leg kick, but Gadelha returns one to the body. Aguilar keeps going back to it while Gadelha is head hunting. Gadelha eats another leg kick, but this time uses it to catch and score a takedown.
