The full fight card is set for next week’s Bellator 82 event.

Leading the charge will be the Season 7 welterweight tournament final between Lyman Good and Andrey Koreshkov.

Also on the main card, Alexander Sarnavskiy will waste no time getting back to work after a loss to Rich Clementi this past month in the lightweight tournament’s opening round. He’ll take on veteran Tony Hervey.

The UFC can promote Alistair Overeem and Nick Diaz for bouts next year “as long as Zuffa makes quite clear that there’s an added piece to that puzzle,” NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer today told MMAjunkie.com.

In Overeem’s case, that means getting a license to fight in Nevada. For Diaz, it’s scheduling him after his suspension ends.

The star fighters have been benched for much of 2012 as they wait out respective administrative actions handed down by the NSAC.

Sandro this past May dropped his second straight featherweight tournament final, and there were questions of whether the 35-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt had enough left to compete at the championship levels.

Sandro tried to give his best answer to that when he put Dustin Neace to sleep at Bellator 81.

The GLORY kickboxing promotion next month teams up with DREAM for a New Year’s Eve mega-show in Japan.

But in February, GLORY will return with a card on its own. GLORY 5 is slated for Feb. 16 in London, and veteran heavyweights Tyrone Spong and Remy Bonjasky are set to headline.

Spong earlier this month made his MMA debut with a dominant first-round knockout of Travis Bartlett at World Series of Fighting 1 in Las Vegas.

After dropping his second straight fight, John Maguire is changing weight classes.

The British fighter will return to middleweight after a nearly three-year run at welterweight following his Saturday loss to Matt Riddle at UFC 154. Maguire on Sunday announced the news on his Twitter account.

UFC 154 took place at Bell Centre in Montreal. Maguire’s fight against Riddle streamed live on Facebook.

The UFC’s return to Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel and Casino from the Palms Casino Resort was the result of a fallout between UFC President Dana White and the Palms.

White on Saturday confirmed to MMAjunkie.com the accuracy of a report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which stated he cut ties with the venue when his credit limit was cut in half.

“I had a little beef with the Palms, and I ripped the UFC out of there,” he said with a chuckle.
