In the semi-main event, Jay Hieron makes his first UFC appearance since 2005 against talented Welterweight Jake “The Juggernaut”Ellenberger. Hieron has spent the last few years fighting in IFL, Strikeforce, and Bellator, and was widely considered one of the best Welterweights outside of the UFC. Now, he will jump right back into the deep end of UFC’s 170 pound division against one of the toughest opponents he has ever faced. The rest of the card will feature Josh “The Dentist” Neer facing off with Jorge Gurgel disciple Justin Edwards and Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen” Stephens against the “Thug jitsu Master”himself, Yves Edwards.

Current UFC On Fuel TV 5 Betting Lines – On Saturday, September 29, 2012, the fifth installment of the UFC on FUEL TV series will hit the air from Nottingham, England’s Capital FM Arena. In the main event of the evening, towering Dutch Heavyweight Stefan “Skyscraper” Struve will square off against undefeated prospect Stipe Miocic. Struve is a tall, rangy fighter with spectacular submissions who uses his length and reach to great effect. His striking is extremely dangerous, but he isn’t the most durable fighter in the world, and the undefeated Miocic has the kind of power and striking technique that could make him pay dearly for any mistakes. If Struve wants to put the first blemish on Miocic’s professional record, he is going to have to fight mistake-free and keep the Strong Style Fight Team representative at bay with his huge reach and crisp punching.

In the semi-main event, Nottingham’s own Dan “The Outlaw”Hardy will look to make it two wins in a row as he squares off against Ultimate Fighter winner Amir Sadollah in a Welterweight showdown. Hardy dropped a ridiculous four fights in a row before winning in his last outing, but he has the kind of knockout power than can end a fight at any moment. Sadollah is a much steadier fighter, but he lacks the one explosive trait like Hardy’s striking that sets him apart, so he is going to need to weather a storm and fight smart if he wants to spoil Hardy’s hometown return. Rounding out the card,Englishman Brad “One Punch” Pickett will face Yves Jabouin at Bantamweight,Liverpool’s Paul Sass will try to figure out versatile Lightweight “Handsome”Matt Wiman, and British Welterweights John Maguire and John Hathaway will each try to earn a win in their home country.
