After an 0-2 start in the WEC with a pair of razor-thin split-decision losses, Vazquez could secure his WEC future, topple a veteran, and get vital TV exposure all in one fell swoop.
However, don’t assume Vasquez is some starry-eyed prospect who’s simply honored to fight the former UFC champ. The 32-year-old veteran has fought professionally for 12 years, and at time, was every bit the up-and-comer Pulver was.
