After failing to reach terms for a new deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and recently signing with rival Strikeforce, Dan Henderson has also inked a deal with the UFC’s rival videogame: “EA Sports MMA.”

EA Sports officials announced that Henderson signed his contract while at Wednesday’s Madden Bowl, an annual videogame competition for “Madden NFL” held on Super Bowl week.

“EA Sports MMA,” available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, is expected to be released in late summer 2010.

Wednesday night’s “PRIMETIME” edition of MMAjunkie.com Radio featured three UFC 109 fighters, “EA Sports MMA” announcement of Frank Trigg joining the roster, and other guests. And tonight’s show is just as good.

UFC lightweight Paul Kelly’s next opponent is no longer a mystery.

Shortly after the UK-based fighter announced his return at UFC 112 on Thursday afternoon, MMAjunkie.com learned that Kelly (9-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) is set to face Matt Veach (11-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at the April event in Abu Dhabi.

Sources close to the negotiations indicate that at least one fighter has signed his bout agreement and the fight is a virtual lock.

LAS VEGAS – UFC president Dana White confirmed that a previously reported bout between “The Ultimate Fighter 10” cast members Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Matt Mitrione (1-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will take place in May at UFC 113.

MMAjunkie.com passed along news of the bout last month.

White today confirmed with MMAjunkie.com the fight is expected to be part of UFC 113, which takes place May 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

LAS VEGAS – The winner of Saturday’s UFC 109 co-main-event fight between Nate Marquardt (29-8-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and Chael Sonnen (24-10-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) will earn a middleweight title shot.

At today’s UFC 109 pre-event press conference, UFC president Dana White confirmed the recent speculation and guaranteed the winner a shot at the belt.

White, who emceed today’s presser at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino’s Mizuya Lounge in Las Vegas, said he always considered the co-headlining fight a No. 1 contender’s bout.
