Whatever Silva’s plan is, Michael Bisping wants to make sure his middleweight division doesn’t get left behind.

Whatever Silva’s plan is, Michael Bisping wants to make sure his middleweight division doesn’t get left behind.

The fourth time hopefully will be the charm for Mike Kyle and former champion Gegard Mousasi.

The light heavyweights have been targeted for a fight at January’s “Strikeforce: Champions” event, Kyle today announced.

“Strikeforce: Champions” takes place Jan. 12 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Main-card fights air on Showtime following prelims on Showtime Extreme.

No matter what her yearly income, Bellator’s Jade Bryce said she donates 20 percent of her earnings to help the less fortunate.

“Every month I try to be creative in how to help people in need,” she recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio.

As Thanksgiving neared, Bryce was hard at work on food boxes for hungry families. She hoped to reach her goal of 50 boxes, which included both nonperishable food items and giftcards.

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said he spoke to Eddie Alvarez on Monday and doesn’t have an update on the fighter’s future.

Rebney has yet to receive a UFC contract offer that would decide whether the tournament-based promotion holds onto the ex-champ or cuts him loose.

“We’re literally waiting,” he told MMAjunkie.com.

A fight between former Bellator bantamweight champion Zach Makovsky and big-show vet Anthony Leone has taken the third and final main-card slot on next month’s Bellator 83 card.

As previously announced, Season 7 featherweight-tournament finalists Rad Martinez and Shahbulat Shamhalaev meet in the headliner.

Additionally, 115-pound champion Zoila Frausto Gurgel meets fellow 125-pound standout Jessica Eye in a non-title co-headliner.
