 Live on Saturday, April 10, 2010 The Concert Arena, Ferrari World, in Yas Island will Host UFC 112.  The Main event of the evening brings us the incredible Anderson “The Spider” Silva (25-4) taking on jiu jitsu specialist Demian Maia (12-1).  Maia will step in for the injured Vitor Belfort.  Demian will  look to somehow get this fight to the mat and work for a submission.  Silva is no dummy on the ground, but will look to keep the fight standing and overwhelm Maia with his technical striking.

 Live on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 The Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina will host UFC Fight Night 21.  Former number one Lightweight contender Kenny “Ken Flo” Florian (12-4) will welcome to the UFC, Japanese star and former Pride Lightweight Champion Takanori “The Fireball Kid” Gomi (31-5-1).  Florian has lost only one fight in his last eight battles, the one being to Lightweight Champion BJ Penn.  Every-time we see florian enter the Octagon he seems to get better and more focused.  Gomi on the other hand has not, winning only two of his last for outings.  People seem to think he has lost that star power he once possessed in his Pride days.  He now comes to the UFC to prove he still can throw down and a win over Florian would do just that.

 Live on Saturday, Mach 6, 2010 The Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio will host WEC 47.  WEC Bantamweigt Champion and undefeated Brian Bowles (8-0) is set to defend his title for the first time against number one contender Dominick Cruz (14-1).  Bowles shocked most MMA fans with his KO victory over Miguel Angel Torres to capture the belt at WEC 42.  A hungry Cruz will look to steal the belt away with the performance of his life.  Bowles has earned three consecutive WEC award honors with two submissions of the night along with KO of the night.  I know he would like to make Cruz a fourth in a row, but Im sure Cruz will be prepared come fight night.
