On Saturday, January 28, 2012, UFC will make their return to the FOX network as UFC on FOX 2 airs live on national network television from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. In the main event of the evening, former Light Heavyweight champion “Sugah” Rashad Evans will look to secure his long-awaited shot at Jon Jones’ title against another dominant wrestler in Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis. Davis is an undefeated young grappler who has used his dominant wrestling to cement himself as one of the Light Heavyweight division’s hottest young contenders, but to crack into the upper crust of the division he is going to have to deal with Evans, who is capable of nullifying his wrestling with dominant wrestling of his own and severely testing his chin with power punches.

In the semi-main event, former Middleweight title contender Chael Sonnen will return to action against another tough wrestler, “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Mark Munoz. Munoz has very good wrestling and heavy hands, but no one in the sport has ever figured out a way to stop Sonnen from taking them down at will, so Munoz is going to have his hands full here. The rest of the card will feature Michael “The Count” Bisping facing grappling ace Demian Maia in a Middleweight bout, Joey Beltran squaring off against Lavar Johnson, and Even Dunham facing Nik Lentz.

Current UFC on FX Betting Odds– On January 20, 2012, UFC will make their debut on the FX network as UFC on FX 1 airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville,Tennessee. Headlining the event is a big Lightweight showdown between powerful young contender “The Young Assassin”Melvin Guillard and grappling ace Jim Miller. These are two of  UFC’s most exciting Lightweight up and comers, and with both guys coming off disappointing losses, there is a lot at stake here. Guillard is a powerful physical specimen with good wrestling and heavy hands, but Miller has an ultra-technical and effective ground game, so Guillard is going to have to show some maturity and fight smart if he wants to get back on the winning track.
