Josh-BarnettRecently signed Strikeforce heavyweight Josh “The Babyfaced Assassin” Barnett (26-5) is ready to return to America and beat down whomever Strikeforce places in front of him.

Barnett classifies his style of fighting as “catch wrestling,” the more violent cousin of Jiu-Jitsu.

“I fight for the sake of fighting, and not anything else…I go out there to win, and win dominantly and impressively. I figure that if I go to a decision, even if I win, I’ve failed at my job…Jiu-jitsu translates to the gentle art. Catch wrestling would be considered the violent art…I want to] beat the crap out of every single person I possibly can. If I do that, everything else will fall at my feet. There won’t be anybody left to stop me from taking what I want.”

No date has been set for “The Babyfaced Assasins” debut, nor has any opponent been rumored for his first fight.

Barnett is currently riding a five fight win streak with his last victory coming over Geronimo dos Santos at Impact FC 1 – The Uprising: Brisbane last July.
