Israel Adesanya has really got it in for Jon Jones.
It looks like the UFC has a new budding rivalry between two of the biggest fighters on the roster.
Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya have been sniping at each other on social media for the better part of a year, but things took a more serious, personal turn when ‘The Last Stylebender’ attacked ‘Bones’ in a series of Tweets on Wednesday evening.
Adesanya, the newly-crowned UFC middleweight champion, brought up everything from Jones’ 2015 hit-and-run incident to the light heavyweight champ’s pre-UFC 200 failed drug test for ‘dick pills’.
Check out Adesanya’s twitter tirade below, which came in response to Jones calling ‘Izzy’ his new ‘p-ssy’.

Adesanya is expected to defend his newly-acquired UFC middleweight title against Brazilian powerhouse Paulo Costa in the new year and, if successful, the New Zealander may have no choice but to then move up in weight to challenge Jones for the light heavyweight strap. Adesanya has also hinted at a heavyweight showdown with divisional champ Stipe Miocic, claiming that he would have no problem moving up two weight classes.
Jones has yet to respond to Adesanya, but don’t expect the pound-for-pound No. 1 to go quietly into the night or for this rivalry to die anytime soon.
