Like several of his countrymen making their Bellator debuts, Russian Andrey Koreshkov found out American competition was no joke.
A meeting with Jordan Smith in the opening round of the Season 7 welterweight tournament proved his toughest engagement to date.
“It was the first time I fought for the whole three rounds, and it was a tough three rounds,” Koreshkov said. “It was good that I could feel that type of pressure.”
