Jessica Andrade will take on Invicta FC champion, Angela Hill, in Las Vegas.
Jessica Andrade didn’t go too long without an opponent. Shortly after her fight against Maryna Moroz was scratched due to Moroz being injured, Combate’s Ana Hissa reported on Twitter that Andrade will now face UFC vet and Invicta FC champion, Angela Hill.
Undefeated since her drop to the strawweight division, Andrade (15-5) scored a couple of stoppage wins over Jessica Penne and Joanne Calderwood. Her last loss, a submission to Raquel Pennington, dates back to September 2015.
A Ultimate Fighter 20 veteran, Angela Hill (6-2) was released from the UFC following a 1-2 stint, with losses to Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas. She now returns to the Octagon on a four-fight winning streak, during which she became the Invicta FC strawweight champion.
Jessica Andrade will meet Angela Hill at UFC 207, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will be headlined by a female bantamweight title fight between champion Amanda Nunes and a returning Ronda Rousey. Dominick Cruz will also look to defend his belt against Cody Garbrandt in the night’s co-main event.
