SBG Ireland’s own Aisling Daly will finally get the opportunity to compete on home soil and in the UFC Octagon. She’ll face Team Nogueira’s Ericka Almeida at UFC Fight Night 76 (UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Duffy) on October 24 in Dublin, Ireland. The UFC made the news official on Monday:

Daly vs. Almeida will take place in the women’s strawweight division.
Daly, 27, is 1-1 in the UFC, having most recently competed at UFC 186 in April where she dropped a unanimous decision to fellow season 20 alumnus of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, Randa Markos. Her overall MMA record stands at 15-6. She trains alongside the UFC’s Conor McGregor, Cathal Pendred, Paddy Holohan and others as part of the Dublin-based SBG Ireland gym.
Almeida, 26, is 0-1 inside the Octagon, having dropped her debut to Juliana de Lima via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 67 in May. Her overall MMA record stands at 7-1.
UFC Fight Night 76 is headlined by a lightweight bout between Dustin Poirier and Joe Duffy.
