UFC welterweight Alex Oliveira is wanted by the cops after allegedly assaulting his ex-wife and riding a motorcycle with their five-month old son while under the influence.
Some grim news about UFC welterweight Alex Oliveira emerged on this Saturday.
According to a report by Combate, the Brazilian ‘Cowboy’ is wanted by the police of Tres Rios, Oliveira’s town in the state of Rio de Janeiro, after allegedly assaulting his ex-wife, a 24-year-old woman, and then taking off on her motorcycle while carrying their five-month son.
Per the police’s report, Oliveira’s ex-wife said Alex took the son to her house in order to pay a visit to his mother. However, Alex allegedly arrived drunk, nervous, and wanted to ride the motorcycle with the baby, which led to an altercation. Furthermore, the ex-wife’s report also claims that Oliveira pulled her hair, punched her, broke glasses around the house and a door.
The police also informed that Oliveira was allegedly able to climb on the motorcycle and take off, albeit not wearing a helmet, and took the baby with him. The baby was then dropped off at Alex’s sister’s house, but the 31-year-old fighter’s whereabouts are still unknown.
Currently on a two-fight losing skid, Alex Oliveira (19-7-1-2 NC) dropped a unanimous decision to Mike Perry in his last outing and was tapped out by Gunnar Nelson before that. Cowboy has not won a fight since a TKO over Carlo Pedersoli Jr, back in September 2018.
