On Tuesday, the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board released the test results for last months Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva event, giving an all clear for all 20 competitors from the Feb. 12 event.
All twenty fighters had their blood and urine tested for drugs of abuse (such as marijuana and cocaine), as well as performance-enhancing drugs such as anabolic steroids. New Jersey is the only state to require such strict testing.
Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva took place on Feb. 12 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Competitors included two opening bouts of Strikeforce’s Heavyweight World Grand Prix tournament which included bouts between Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, and Sergei Kharitonov vs. Andrei Arlovski.
