Conor McGregor speaks out anew about his viral tussle with Machine Gun Kelly on the VMA red carpet on Sunday.

The past three days in Conor McGregor’s world had been about his viral red carpet tussle with rapper Machine Gun Kelly at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City on Sunday. Bits of videos of the incident went around online showing “The Notorious” throwing a drink at Kelly and being restrained by security.

Reports later surfaced about the UFC star’s alleged DMs to Kelly’s girlfriend Megan Fox as the supposed reason for the scuffle. But if you ask McGregor himself, it’s now water under the bridge.

“I’ll tell you what happened, man. I’ll tell you what it is: I’m free here in New York City. I’m back in New York. I got to go to the Barclay Center again. I got to present an award. I was just going to have a good time, and that’s it. All love, all love,” McGregor told comedian and former TMZ cameraman Adam Glyn.

“It’s all good, man. Come to the next fight, come watch me perform, any time. I’ll perform, no problem. Everyone’s more than welcome to come to my fights and come to the shows.

“No beef, I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know him. Who is he? He used to be at the fights. Megan’s been at the fights, years! So I know Megan.

“I don’t know the guy. There’s no problem. Come to the fights, no problem, man.”

Speaking of fighting, the Irishman also gave a brief update on his physical health.

“I feel good, man. Back on the feet. I feel like I could kick right now. I honestly feel like I could kick right now, but I just gotta listen to the doctors, listen to the people that are guiding me.

“That’s what I’ve done so far. I’ve committed myself to the work, and I’m back on the feet. And it’s so good to be back on the feet.”

McGregor won’t see action until 2021, but he does have several options for his return. Among them is a potential fourth fight with Dustin Poirier and a trilogy with Nate Diaz.
