Jon Jones will attempt to defend his Light Heavyweight title for the eleventh time this Saturday night (Feb. 8, 2020) at UFC 247 in Houston, Texas when he takes on Dominick Reyes, which will air exclusively on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV).
Before then, let’s take a look back at all Jon’s previous defenses, which saw him take on some of the best to ever grace the Octagon, including former champions, living legends and even an Olympian.
Have a look:
1. Submission win over Quinton Jackson at UFC 135.
2. Submission win over Lyoto Machida at UFC 140.
3. Decision win over Rashad Evans at UFC 145.
4. Submission win over Vitor Belfort at UFC 152.
5. TKO win over Chael Sonnen at UFC 159.
6. Decision win over Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165.
7. Decision win over Glover Teixeira at UFC 172.
8. Decision win over Daniel Cormier at UFC 182.
9. Decision win over Anthony Smith at UFC 235.
10. Decision win over Thiago Santos at UFC 239.
One can only imagine how many title defenses Jones would’ve had if not for his multiple suspensions, which saw him spend plenty of time on the bench. Nevertheless, he will look to add another one to his ever-impressive resume when he takes on an undefeated (12-0, 6-0 UFC) combatant looking to win his first UFC title.
