Shots fired.
Tony Ferguson recently posted a Tweet in which he accused Nate Diaz of backing out of fights in light of Diaz’ Tweet where he teased of a welterweight scrap with Dustin Poirier.

“All You Do Is B*tch Out. You Don’t Want No Squabbles From A Real Fighter. 170lbs or 155lbs… SitDown & STFU Casual,” Ferguson posted in response to Diaz.
Is this Ferguson’s way of marketing a potential fight with Diaz? Possibly.
‘El Cucuy’ is on a two-fight skid and hasn’t won in the Octagon since his second-round TKO stoppage of Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 238 while Diaz is looking to bounce back from his ‘BMF’ title loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244. Diaz lost the fight via TKO (doctor stoppage) and has been inactive for the past year, but The Ultimate Fighter 5 winner is still in hot demand and ranks as one of the most popular fighters in the sport.
Ferguson (25-5 MMA, 15-3 UFC) is currently #5 in the UFC lightweight rankings while Diaz (20-12 MMA, 15-10 UFC) is unranked at both lightweight and welterweight.
