Two-division champion Amanda Nunes says she is no longer interested in fighting at 145 pounds.
Last December at UFC 232, Amanda Nunes became the fourth fighter in the roster to simultaneously hold two title belts with a first-round knockout win over Cris Cyborg. But apparently, she is not planning to stick around at featherweight.
In a recent tweet she directed at Cyborg, Nunes made it clear that she is “done” at 145 pounds, but suggested Olympic gold medalist judoka Kayla Hararison as a possible matchup.
Sorry Cristiane but I’m done with 145. My Goal was to be a double champ. But, now I can help you build the division. I got someone for you @Judo_Kayla is a true 145er

In turn, Cyborg responded by stating that she is willing to move up to 155 pounds and make a fight with Harrison happen.
If @Judo_Kayla wins the @ProFightLeague tournament at 155lbs she doesn’t have to come down to Featherweight. I have no problem going up in weight to compete. https://t.co/P3F6XQPdNg

As for Nunes, she also stated that she is willing to fight former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, a matchup that Holm herself is interested in. Nunes, who has also been actively making jokes on social media as of late, mentioned chasing her third world title, this time at 125 pounds.
Holly would definitely be a great fight to defend my belt at 135.

“The Lioness” is currently on an eight fight win streak since 2015, which consists of three successful title defenses at bantamweight.
