It’s a Brazilian invasion in Orlando, Florida, for UFC on FOX 11.
Brazilian bantamweight Amanda Nunes announced on Saturday that she is set to return to the Octagon at the UFC on FOX 11 card on April 19 against undefeated promotional newcomer Alexis Dufresne.
Nunes (9-3), the seventh Brazilian fighter featured on the card, is unbeaten under the UFC banner with a pair of first-round knockout wins over Sheila Gaff and Germaine de Randamie in 2013.
Dufresne enters the Octagon for the first time after racking up a 5-0 professional record since 2012. After two first-round submissions in 2012, the American Top Team product scored three straight first-round TKO finishes.
Headlined by Fabricio Werdum vs. Travis Browne, UFC on FOX 11 takes place at the Amway Center and also features Miesha Tate vs. Liz Carmouche, Donald Cerrone vs. Edson Barboza and Rafael dos Anjos vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov.
