Two years after his last fight, Amir Sadollah will return to the Octagon.
The Ultimate Fighter 7 winner will meet Niko Musoke in a welterweight bout on the UFC Fight Night card in Stockhom, Sweden on Oct. 5. The UFC’s UK website reported the bout on Thursday.
Sadollah (6-4) has fought all 10 of his professional bouts in the UFC, but he hasn’t been seen since losing a unanimous decision to Dan Hardy in England on Sept. 29, 2012. Injuries have kept him from fighting since, including pulling out of a planned match with Stephen Thompson at UFC 160.
He’ll be fighting a hometown favorite in Musoke, a 28-year old Stockholm native from the gamed AllStars gym. While Musoke (12-3) lost his last fight, a unanimous decision against Kevin Gastelum on June 28, he’s 2-1 overall in the UFC.
The Musoke-Safollah fight was the first announced for the Stockholm event.
