A Middleweight bout between heavy hitters Eryk Anders and Krzysztof Jotko has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 172 event, which is slated to go down inside Moda Center in Portland, OR., streaming exclusively on ESPN+.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the booking via press release.

Anders is currently riding a two-fight win streak, defeating Vinicius Moreira and Gerald Meerschaert in back-to-back outings. The heavy-handed ex-football player will look to build up some momentum at 185 pounds after dropping back down to the division last October.

Since making his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut in 2017, “Ya Boi” has competed at both Light Heavyweight and Middleweight, but has been unable to find much rhythm at either weight class. A win here would give Anders his longest win streak inside the Octagon.

Jotko, meanwhile, has also won two straight and like Anders, was on a three-fight losing streak prior to his back-to-back UFC victories. A win over Anders will give the 30-year old Polish striker his longest win streak since 2016, and give him the push he needs to crack the top 15.

UFC Fight Night 172 will feature a Heavyweight showdown between Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris, while the co-main event will see Michelle Waterson take on Carla Esparza in women’s Strawweight action.
